Job Description
Oversee all aspects of the refinish process from prep to paint to final inspection. Work with the other painters on managing the prep department workload as well as quality. Coordinate paint department employee schedules.
Responsibilities
Prep vehicles for paint. Produce a quality paint product by applying waterborne automotive paint with a paint gun to various parts of different makes of vehicles. Working knowledge of and ability to cut/polish. Must be able to maintain an effective routine to efficiently move vehicles through the paint shop. Communicate repair status updates with the office and production managers multiple times a day.
Qualifications
Must have 10+ years of experience painting in the automotive industry and a working knowledge of paint tools, products, and procedures. (We spray Sikkens.)
Schedule
Monday thru Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm with an hour lunch. Hours may vary based on workload.
