How to Find a Good Auto Body Repair Shop

A car is one of the biggest purchases of your life — naturally, you want to make sure you’re in good hands when your car needs an auto body repair. Unlike engine or starter repairs, body repairs are something you’ll see every day. Find the best quality repair shop by following these tips:

Check for proper certifications

The best auto body shops will all have up-to-date certifications and licensing. If you’re going to a company without certifications, you’ll risk working with someone who doesn’t have the proper training or procedures and you could damage your car more in the long run.

Get a reference from a friend

Word of mouth is always the best way to go. Ask friends and family who they trust when it comes to their auto body needs.

Ask about their warranties

Sometimes things can go awry with a repair. For this reason, you want to make sure the repair shop has a good warranty. The details will vary from shop to shop, so read the fine print.

Do your research ahead of time

Learn all you can about the company and your situation before you commit to having them do the work. Ask how long the repair will take, how much experience they have with your type of vehicle, what type of parts they use, etc.

Read online reviews

These days, it’s best to read online reviews before buying just about anything, and auto body repairs are no exception

If you’re looking for auto body shops in the Provo, Utah, area, Cascade Collision is an excellent option to help with your repair. Find a location near you and learn more about our services.
